The highlight of the ceremony was the presentation of the BRICS International Award 2025<\/strong> to Abusupyan Kharkharov<\/strong>, a distinguished leader recognized for his extraordinary contributions to spiritual education, cultural development, and maritime innovation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

As part of the celebration, a round table discussion titled \u201cGlobal Initiatives of the BRICS+ Countries in the Fields of Economy, New Technologies, Culture and Education\u201d<\/strong><\/em> was held under the aegis of the BRICS Culture Media Forum<\/strong> in partnership with the Universal Peace Federation (UPF).<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

The session was moderated by Sergei Dvorianov<\/strong> and attended by distinguished personalities including State Duma Deputy Andrey Svintsov<\/strong> and H.E. Genet Teshome Jirru<\/strong>, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia.<\/p>\n

In his keynote address, Deputy Svintsov<\/strong> emphasized the growing relevance of mutual understanding and cooperation among BRICS+ nations, calling for new humanitarian and spiritual initiatives<\/strong> to strengthen international relations.<\/p>\n

Discussions on Peace and Humanitarian Cooperation<\/strong><\/h3>\n

A significant part of the forum was dedicated to the theme of humanitarian cooperation and moral leadership.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Sergey Shurygin<\/strong>, President of the International Academy for the Spiritual Unity of the World\u2019s Nations<\/em>, proposed the establishment of a \u201cMillennium Peace Prize\u201d<\/strong><\/em> \u2014 a Russian equivalent to the Nobel Peace Prize \u2014 to honor peacemakers and moral leaders whose efforts strengthen global unity beyond politics.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Representing the Universal Peace Federation<\/em>, Dmitry Samko<\/strong>, Chairman of the UPF Moscow Chapter, underscored the organization\u2019s mission based on interdependence, mutual prosperity, and universal values.<\/strong><\/p>\n
