The book launch of “1975 The Year That Transformed Bollywood”

New Delhi [India], August 29: The book launch of the book titled “1975 The Year That Transformed Bollywood ‘ by Pratik Majumdar, organised by Jashn event management & Promoters at Oxford Book Store, Kolkata.

Pratik is a passionate cinephile, music enthusiast, & Published author of a collection of short stories. Pratik Majumdar began his career in advertising, working both in India and London . Pratik has amassed a collection on Blu-Rays, DVDs & Vinyl records over the years. .1975, the year that transformed Bollywood, is his second book as an author and his first book on Cinema.

The book launch welcome address was delivered by the MD of Jashn Events, Mrs Seema Saxena.

The launch ceremony was done in the presence of a few honourable guests, Mr Atri Bhattacharya (Additional Chief Secretary, Sundarban Affairs, Government of West Bengal), Mrs Mousumi Sengupta ( Popular Columnist, author & motivational speaker ), Pandit Bickram Ghosh (Renowned Indian Tabla player, composer and film scorer) & Jaya Seal Ghosh

The book launch was followed by a book discussion with the honourable guests, where they discussed the cinema of 1975 & its music. The audience dived into the discussion and enjoyed the parts of the book.

After an insightful discussion, the author took some questions from the eager audience and shared his journey of writing this book . A few questions on the book were asked by Khushi Rungta.

The event started with a mesmerising musical performance by Indranil & later the author signed the books for the readers & the closing was done with a vote of gratitude by Jashn event’s team & by Bindiya Mujumdar to all the audience.
