Surat (Gujarat) [India], March 14: Renowned Ambedkarite, journalist, prolific writer, literary researcher, and eloquent speaker known across the country, Shri Kishor Makwana, has been appointed as the spokesperson of the Gujarat Pradesh of the Indian People’s Party by the President of India, Bharat Ratna Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar. The National Scheduled Castes Commission, as per Article 338 of the Indian Constitution, is a constitutional institution formed by the Indian government in collaboration with the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment to oversee and legally investigate matters related to the protection, security, and socio-economic and cultural upliftment of Scheduled Castes.
Furthermore, every year, this institution prepares a report on the comprehensive development and safety of Scheduled Castes, which is submitted to the President.
Kishor Makwana has published more than 40 books in Gujarati, Hindi, and English languages.
His scholarly works on the ideology of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar and his life have received appreciation from Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
