Ballarpur (Maharashtra) [India], August 21: Crescent Public School & Creative Minds Pre School commemorated India’s 77th Independence Day with unparalleled fervor and enthusiasm through a day-long celebration that included a remarkable investiture ceremony. The event was graced by esteemed personalities and attended by an enthusiastic crowd of parents, students, and staff.
The proceedings commenced with the solemn flag hoisting ceremony, conducted by the honorable Shree Chandan Singhji Chandel, former Chairman of Forest Development of Maharashtra. The event was also graced by the presence of Mrs. Humera Khan, Principal of Crescent Public School & Creative Minds Pre School. The unfurling of the national flag marked the beginning of a day filled with patriotic pride and camaraderie.
A spirited rally was initiated from Crescent Public School & Creative Minds Pre-School premises, with over 100 parents participating on bikes and in cars. The rally traversed through the town, making notable stops at key landmarks. At the Municipal Council Square, the participants paid homage to the revered figures of Shree Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and Shree Dr. B. R. Ambedkar through garland offerings. The event was attended by the school’s Principal, staff, parents, and children.
The rally’s next halt was at Jay Bhim Square, Vijay Stambh, where the Jay Bhim Bahuuddeshiya Sanstha extended a warm welcome. Members of the Sanstha, including Shree Santosh Betal, Shree Pavan Meshram, Shree Deshpal Moon, and others, were present. The national flag was hoisted with pride, and the gathering united in singing the National Anthem. The occasion was marked by the distribution of sweets to the school’s students and staff by the members of the Jay Bhim Bahuuddeshiya Sanstha.
The day culminated at Gondwana Natyagruh, where an impressive assembly of parents, children, and teachers gathered. The event showcased a diverse range of performances by the students. The program included heartwarming performances by students of various classes, such as welcome songs, dances, patriotic renditions, and even dramatic presentations portraying the facets of freedom.
The investiture ceremony was a momentous highlight, where deserving students were appointed to key leadership positions within the school. The ceremony was presided over by Mrs. Humera Khan, who administered the oath of responsibility to the newly elected Head Boy, Head Girl, and their fellow council members. Mast. Rehat Kalsi and Miss. Sanskruti Khandelwal was elected as literary head boy and girl, Miss. Mohini Wankhede And Sharwari Patil were elected as cultural head boy and girl, Mast, Aman Khan Pathan and Miss. Alisha Sheikh was elected as disciplinary head boy and girl, Mast Pratyush Jha and Miss. Nayla Khan was elected as Hygine’s head boy and girl; the school also elected Mast. Mohan Appala, Miss. Unnati Nathani, Mast. Jihan Mulchandani, Miss. Arshiya Gidwani, Mast. Pranay Verma, Miss Taniya Gidwani, Mast. Samyak Gondane, Miss. Madhupriya Bukya, Head Boy for Perfect Pirates, Incredible, Clever Clown and Diligent Dingos
The Pre-Primary students of Play House, Nursery, LKG, and UKG delighted the audience with a mesmerizing dance performance on the theme of patriotism, showcasing their love for India. The Nursery class dance was set to the tune of “I Love My India,” while the LKG class performed the inspiring melody of “Aye Vatan, Vatan Mere.” The UKG class took the stage with enthusiasm, dancing to the rhythm of “Suno Gaur Se Duniyawalo.” Adding to the charm, the Pre-Primary students also participated in a captivating Fancy Dress segment.
Following this captivating start, the event moved on to the primary section. The students of Std-1 danced energetically to the beats of “Jai Ho,” while those of Std-2 showcased their talent with a vibrant performance on “It Happened Only In India.” The stage then transformed into a captivating theatrical display with the presentation of “Facets of Freedom” by the students of Std-3. The heartfelt dance performance on “Maa Tujhe Salam” by Std-4 students captivated everyone’s hearts, and the theme of Satyagraha was powerfully conveyed through the dance by Std-4 students. The charm of “Kesari” was brought to life by the enthusiastic dance performance of Std-5 students.
As the morning unfolded, the students continued to impress. The captivating song “कच्चाघड़ा” was melodiously sung by the Std-5 students, leading into the second act of the dramatic performance “Facets of Freedom.” The event gained momentum as the rhythmic dance on “Tiranga” by Std-7 students filled the air. The patriotic spirit soared with the powerful dance performance on “Vandemataram” by Std-8 students. Keeping the momentum alive, the Std-9 students showcased their dance prowess on the soul-stirring “Desh Mere.”
Bringing the event to a grand finale, students from classes 8, 9, and 10 united in a dynamic dance performance. Their synergy and energy encapsulated the spirit of unity and celebration. The program culminated with a gracious vote of thanks delivered by Alisha, acknowledging the unwavering dedication of the teaching and non-teaching staff from Crescent Public School & Creative Minds Pre School. Their hard work, commitment, and passion were instrumental in making the event a resounding success. The day ended on a high note of patriotism and unity, leaving everyone with a sense of pride and joy.
