Initial Days of Varsha’s Journey
Varsha completed her education from Stella Maris College, Chennai and was passionate about Makeup from her early schooling days. Ever since being a little girl, she loved playing with makeup and styling hair, after being influenced heavily by the makeup artists and pop stars in London. She started practising at home with little products but making this art as a Profession was never in her mind. Being a passionate makeup lover, after college days, it was hard for her to find the best academy in India to learn the skills she wanted to in this industry.

After being certified from various Institutions and Top Artists abroad, she started her journey from a beautiful studio in 2018 in Chennai, where she used to offer Bridal makeup services, under her brand name, ‘Face stories by Varsha’ across all social media. Varsha, changed her name from Varsha Choradiya to Varsha Sethiya, after getting married to Industrialist, Mr. Siddharth Kumar in 2012 as well and started focusing on the future ahead.
Her Achievements
Varsha strongly believes in doing huge charities, giving back to the society and empowering women for a better future in the makeup industry. Under ‘Face Stories by Varsha’, she covers Wedding Makeups, Courses and about to launch her own Cosmetic brand in 2023.
In 2020-2021 when the world was fighting with the pandemic, She literally started giving Online Makeup and Marketing classes without any cost, Setting a record of 10,000+ LIVE Students, so that everyone can learn the best skills without facing financial issues. Not only this, giving back to the society in the name of charities in Tamil Nadu, Varsha didn’t only win hearts but blessings which has now made her stand amongst the Top Celebrity Makeup Artists in India.
In 2021, Varsha Sethiya was awarded Golden Wings, Best Makeup Artist of the year 2021 award, from Bollywood Actress – Tanushree Dutta, that worked as a speed booster for her career. This particular competition was amongst Top 250 contestants in India. Not only this, with more than 500+ 5 stars reviews from bridal makeups across India, she was appreciated by the Tamil film industry Movie directors including – Director, Bharathiraja for doing Celebrity Makeovers with her amazing skills in Film industry.
Currently, being a mother she does makeups on Film industry Celebrities and also owns 2 academies in India, with an aim to empower 10,000+ entrepreneurs, making them learn the best knowledge that she’s carrying along with her years of experience.
